The one bedroom apartment was spacious and very comfortable, with a large bathroom and a well-equipped kitchen. I appreciated the serene environment, especially being just a short walk from the river. However, the large front window made it a bit tricky when it came to privacy, as it was either fully covered or completely uncovered, which was less than ideal. Overall, it was a satisfying place to stay while exploring the nearby hiking trails, especially the stunning Tongariro North Circuit.

Staying in the executive suite was an absolute dream. The decor was fine, showcasing beautiful furniture and exquisite beddings. Plus, the outdoor landscaping was serene, providing perfect spots to relax and even a peaceful walk to the river.

The grounds were lovely, right next to the river.

During our stay, we struggled with Wi-Fi connectivity which was frustrating, especially given that the lodge was fully booked. The laundry facilities were surprisingly limited with only one washing machine and dryer for multiple lodges, which was quite inconvenient. Additionally, the décor felt outdated, giving a vibe reminiscent of the 1970s, making us feel less inclined to enjoy our time there.

The bed was softer than I prefer, but the grounds and kitchen were top-notch, and the space was warm.

Just a fine choice for a quick trip in Turangi with value for money. The warm unit had everything we needed, making our stay comfortable. Be sure to check out the well-maintained garden while you're there.

Great location and lovely river walk. Air conditioning was a big plus, but Wi-Fi was slow.

The spacious cabin was extremely clean and the grounds were lovely, right next to the river. We loved the easy access to nature (such a breath of fresh air! ). Plus, the staff was super friendly and welcoming! Great coffee at the café too.

Truly a great stay! The cozy unit was fantastically clean, with a delightful picnic area and outdoor dining space. Super close to the river for a chill walk and a hop to the shops made dining easy.
